2010 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road

That is a really clean install.

How did you adhere the solar panel to the lid?

Thank you! I used 3M tape on the perimeter and small patches through out. This stuff is pretty solid. I also added silicone to the perimeter once installed.

Thank you for the detailed documentation! I could have shortened the leads but still debating whether I want to add another 100w panel. For now, this will do :+1:

@DirtTrailsWanted has really nice setup with multiple panels if you do end up adding more!

Damn, I cant find a build thread.

It’s on their blog. Very nice work on their Tundra:

How hard was it to build the boxes?

thank you!

Not too difficult. A little bit of a pain trying to do the cutout to clear the total chaos bed stiffeners but other than that, pretty easy. Just took my time measuring a ton before cutting material. I have no experience building things, but buying a pocket hole jig made making a frame super easy.

Nice build, my friend! Where did you get those fog lights?

Thank you! I appreciate it. I got them off a buddy that upgraded to baja fogs. I don’t know the brand but I can check the back for a part number and get back to you.

They are look similar to this foglights. Did you check what the part number they have?

Damn, sorry, I haven’t yet. It is not those but honestly mine are nothing fancy either. Those look great as well.
