Not sure where to post on here, but I may have found a solution to the Positive Pressure Vent issue on a GFC. Just got my camper a month ago and took it on 200 miles of Utah desert. So, Much, Dust… So I set out to find a solution. I spent 30.66 including shipping for these parts
Im really happy with how it turned out. Cover is great for when I am driving on the road, no hit to my MPG. Then when Im off road, I just twist off the cap and twist on the 90 degree elbow. added bonus, I can get a T fitting so that my propex heater can heat my camper and my tent.
Jetpilot , that looks very cool. I might have painted out the logo on the cap…. But the question is, did the mod reduce the dust intrusion… and did you do both sides, to get cross airflow?
Have you sealed your bed and tailgate gaps?
And FYI, be sure to use a cap/ cover that has four ears, some have just two and those WILL definitely break and fall off.

Thanks @JohnEDavies, Yes my Bed and tailgate are sealed. I have lived in a RV for the last 8 years and I am very familiar with what you’re talking about … too familiar. Yes this cap has four ears just like the 90 degree elbow. I haven’t installed one on the other side, I’m not a huge fan of putting holes in my camper if I can avoid it, but I hate getting dust in and needed a way to vent heat into the camper anyway. It seems to be working really well! I haven’t put it to the ultimate test yet so we will see how she does once I put 200 miles down in the desert again. I also like to drive fast
