I appreciate all the responses and suggestions. The white is nice, but my initial thought was either black or the lighter grey.
I was leaning toward black since my truck has the Black Appearance Package, but I also think grey might provide a nice contrast with the Avalanche color. I’m still on the fence, so I’d love to hear your comments.
I chose white for the cool-ness in the desert (I’m in UT), as well as how much brighter it is inside with the lights on - the white reflects a lot more of the LEDs at night and it is just easier to be in (my ex had a black one before I ordered my white one).
You could always wrap the outside to match the truck. That is the direction I went.
I’m not sure. That came directly from the homies at GFC, though. Either way, get what you like. I’ve had Black multiple times, bronze, and green. Love them all.
Someone performed a study on the heat absorption of the different colors a few years ago. You may be able to search for that to gauge how the different colors will react to the sun. As expected, Black was the hottest. If you’re in the warm/hot climates I would not recommend Black. Mine is grey and while it does get hot, it’s not unreasonably hot.
