Had some clearance issues between the beef rack and roof top. Anybody see any issues with having it mounted like this?

Not my rig, but saw this and snapped a few pics. Pretty creative set up that eliminates the need for crossbars as well as takes added weight off the roof.

Mounted using two GFC universal brackets.

I might be a bit biased, but the Big Sky Rod Box is a perfect match. Our shop is only a few miles from the GFC shop. We can easily coordinate installs. Tube systems suck and ruin rods. Go for Montana made! www.flyrodbox.com

Hey, I was just trying to figure out a side mount for the Yakima Rod Hauler. Any issues? Just one attachment point?
That was someone else’s rig I saw around town and thought it might be a helpful solution for forum members. My truck is the last pic in BSRB’s post above.
