Maverick Tremor GFC owner here since July ‘24. I throughly enjoy the Camper version. for those wondering about MPG I choose to put regular unleaded (Top Tier) in and have been getting 23.8 MPG combined (city, hwy, off-road), consistently. I recently just put a Rough Country 270 degree awning on and still haven’t seen any decrease MPG. The awning does sit pretty low, I’m 5’11” but if you buy the enclosure attachment it includes extra telescoping poles (3) so you have 4 total that you can raise the awning up at least an inch or so.

For those worried about water seeping in I have noticed a slight stream of water after washing coming in from the cab-side of the topper but never into the RTT (Roof Top Tent).
For those worried about the antenna I did put a Stubby on. At first the installers were thinking it still might rub on the roof. They shaved it down slightly and put a silicone cover and I’m still able to get radio reception. I mostly use CarPlay but still find it important to have radio capabilities for leisure or emergency information.
I have a 2025 Tremor and am expecting a call from Stellar Built in Sacramento, CA any day now for the install. Anyone else get their GFC installed in Sacramento?
Hi - I also just got a 25 Maverick (hybrid) and am considering a GFC install in Sacramento. Did you have a good experience? How has the new camper set up been treating you? I am in the Bay Area.
I have the GFC on my ‘24 Maverick hybrid, i’m loving it. The install was easy, beyond being a bit of a road trip. the camper is rad, I keep the essentials in the bed of the truck so we can head out into the forest any time. Its nice to pull into a spot late and have the bed setup in less than a minute.
My MPG was 42-44 and now with the camper it’s been 33-38. just put a wind fairing on so seeing how that improves things.
I am in NC and had the install done in NC. besides the round trip, it was 30min of checking emails in the lobby and they were done. I’ll get a build thread up this fall if things slow down for me.
I’ve had a GFC on my ‘22 Maverick FX4 for just over 2 years now. Drove from Greenville SC to GFC HQ for the install and just went back in July (from Bentonville AR, where we now live) to get the Pro tent installed. We love the GFC - we have all the Pro upgrades (headliner, lighting kit, bedding catches, TurboNap, and now the new tent). I have seen an MPG drop (I now only get low 20s) but that’s my only real negative. I just got the ladder too but we haven’t been out camping with it yet. It’s awesome that GFC has built a camper for the Maverick - many other camper companies don’t support little trucks.
