GFC V2 for 2014 through 2024 short box Chevrolet Silverado 1500 or GMC equivalent. It has only been used 1 night this past June. This unit has front and back windows. Back window is blockable. The tent has all the windows as well. It has an additional sleeping set up to the standard GFC in the creation of a 10 inch by 56 inch section that allows the upstairs bed to have an additional 10 inches in width when in Bunk mode or 18 inches in gap space to get up and down at night, when used this way the sleeping space is 72 x 56. Custom panel , foam cushion and sheet were made for this set up. Included with the sale is J Edgar drip rails, 1 Shittco awning blocks and rods, GFC lock covers for the side panels, magnetic lock covers for the back panel. Back panel has the privacy shade that I leave in the uncovered position when driving and then button up when you don’t want anyone to see in the bed of the truck. This unit is in tip top shape and has always been in the garage when not driving down the road. The panels are black under the wrap. The wrap is easily removed vinyl. The interior insulation panels are just Velcro and can be removed as well. $8000 plus installation cost at GFC center in New Braunfels. located in central Texas.
I’ve got a 2020 silverado trailboss short bed and I’m in the market for a tuck topper.
I’m in 29 Palms CA
beautiful area, I would consider a half way meeting point like maybe Tucson, split cost of removal from my truck and install on yours.
Thanks
Terry
I may have posted the replay in the wrong space so here is second attempt. I could meet you in Tucson. All we would need to do is find a suitable truck topper place to do the swap.
Sounds good, are you asking $9000 for it? I assumed that was the cost when you bought it.
What are you asking for it?
cost with shipping, accessories was $11850.00
Good to go man, I am right now looking to save some money vs a full V2 and I’m planning on buying a topper and sleeping in the back. I happened to check the forum and saw your for sale and assumed that you bought it for $9k and was hoping to offer around $6k to $6,500. If that’s okay with you I’d be willing to coordinate and make it happen but I assume it’s not.
If for whatever reason you’re unable to get rid of it and want to sell it to me let me know, sorry for the misunderstanding.
OK, got it. I am not willing at this time to take that big a haircut for a virtually new unit.
Thanks
Terry
Sounds good man totally understand.
like all purchases it comes down to condition and price. You may find a less expensive unit but unlikely to find one in this excellent condition
how about $7,000?
$8,000 but the exchange is done here in New Braunfels at certified GFC installer
Best I can do is $7k.
I understand
If you change your mind let me know I will be able to get off and travel to Texas in the coming weeks/month.
I don’t know how to dm on here but if you want to exchange contact info just either reply here or dm me.
thanks, but I am not going to let it go for $7000
but I did lower the price to $8000. located in central texas
