I’m a side sleeper as well and I find the TurboNap to be borderline for me. Some nights its adequate and others my hip hurts from bottoming out. Unfortunately with the headliner and TurboNap my tent already has issues with closing. Its a real bummer since my MegaMat + ground tent was amazing. I didn’t expect going from ground tent to camper would make my quality of sleep worse.

I’m located in Minnesota so I’m not sure I could get much (if anything) for my TurboNap. That means eating the full cost of the Hest…

Was same for me. Went from Meg mat which I loved to gfc by far the worst. The OSG foam helped, then I finally just bit the gullet and got the hest.

if I didn’t care for the platform ability I think I would have just bought another mega Mat but in a larger size to fit in the gfc

I’ve got a V2 camper with a pro tent upgrade and a Hest mattress. No issues with closing the tent or bowing of the rails. It just takes about 30 more seconds to make sure everything is tucked in. The Hest is worth the price, but black Friday is also coming up and they usually have a pretty good sale.

I am now just using my single Exped on top of the turbonap. It only takes a minute to blow up with the Exped battery inflator.

So, will the GFC close with the Hest 50 and the GFC Headliner? My GFC cushions with the OSG memory foam is comfortable, but could use some improvement.

This is the biggest question for me. I really want to swap my dual foamy setup for the Hest 50 but I also want to get the headliner and its already a tight close as it is without the headliner.

Just a heads up for everyone, Hest is doing a 20% off sale for Black Friday. The Platform 50 is $600.

I can confirm, the Hest mattress, Pro tent, and headliner will not work. There was no way in hell I could close the tent, even with the two squares turned upside down.

Damn. I didn’t pull the trigger on the Hest as I was worried about this. I wish I could get any decent money for the TurboNap and headliner but I think they are mostly worthless in Minnesota as there are very few GFCs. There are V2 Pros listed for $6-7.5k and they aren’t selling.
