Locking the pop-up on the camper

Does anyone have a solution for locking the pop-up on the V2 Pro camper? Looking for a lock that will fit the hole in the clamp.

I use this, suggested on the forum or facebook page from someone else. I only do it when going in to the city or staying at hotels. Prob overkill since most people wont know to go in through the top anyway. Amazon.com: Reese Towpower 7042100 Adjustable Coupler Latch Lock , Black : Automotive

Yep, that’s the one. Someone on here makes a 3D printed lock “locker” to store the lock when it’s not in use. Edit: the company is Use More Force and here’s a LINK to their store.

I recommend you buy 10+ on Amazon, so you can get two that are keyed alike, and then return the unused ones

Thanks!

Not to dismiss your concerns for locking the camper, but in the 3 years that we have been traveling we have never talk to someone who, one, realized the bottom is accessible through the camper mattress without us explaining it, and two, despite the cab hangover realized that the top popped open to begin with. I don’t want to tell you to not lock it if you really want to, just here to say that not that many people realize what’s really going on up there.

I agree and rarely lock mine, except times when I have valuable equipment and will be away from my vehicle for long periods of time, especially in urban areas. Window coverings too. Crackheads, like water and dust, will find a way, just makes it a lil bit harder for them.

I also look at vehicles with expensive lighting or other expensive accessories bolted on their rigs and think how they could be an easy target for someone. If they’re willing to take the time and effort to grab catalytic converters, why wouldn’t they start targeting other things that are easier to reach.

For me, I visit clients who are often in shady parts of the state. For me it’s just extra piece of mind.
