@yodabeast Not too difficult, but a bit time consuming.
You need to take off all of the doors and all the exterior track pieces, which give you access to cut aways in the frame of both tent bc br and main frame where you can remove six bolts/nuts per side, three at tailgate, holding tent to frame. Then you need to mechanically break the bond of the sealant they use between the two. I did that by hammering a thin paint scraper between the two and working it all the way around. Piano wire would probably also work.
