nice!!! let us know if you have any questions if you are headed down. We will likely be down here for the next 3 months.
gonna be a while before i can go away more than 2 days 1 night lol
and that is after i get the truck offroad ready again. im down to 4 tires with no spare.
Just curious on the Dewalt air pump, I’m currently running a Viair 88, supposedly maxes out on 33’s. For all four tires, when deflated to about 20 +/-, takes about 35-40 mins to get them to 32-35. I usually take off and get to nearest gas station at that point.
Any estimate on how much longer the Dewalt might take? Thx
Hard to say exactly but I can say that when we were usually at about 20 psi, re-inflating to 35 psi would take about 45 mins from start to finish. That was with our 265/75/16 tires. Definitely not fast, but it made for a perfect snack break excuse, and generally just a break before jumping back onto pavement.
I do need to update this list actually, we have recently switched to a viair 400p compressor, and it’s definitely much faster. I think from start to finish we around 10-15 mins now from roughly that same 20psi to 37psi.
wow, yeah the 400P is a huge upgrade. I have the 88. It works and takes about 40 mins, but that’s on 33’s. I may have to take a look at the 400P, although, I do like the cordless aspect of the dewalt.
