Had to leave Whitecap Lodge early due to a stomach bug But…got to stay at this lovely site on HWY99 (The Duffy). Also been reppin’ my GFC hat all season
Wrapping up the trip in Death Valley las night. Other than lots of road closures due to wash out, it was pretty sweet. Very content with the GFC overall.
A quick trip to the high desert in Central Oregon to celebrate the start of Spring. Three campgrounds, all of them I had to myself- A little spooky!
Day 1- Clyde Hollliday State Park, John Day River, Oregon.
Day 2- Page Springs CG, Blitzen River, Oregon.
Day 3- Muleshoe CG, John Day River, Oregon.
Night 6. Unfortunately couldn’t get to where I wanted to go for the night due to recent flooding this week. But this will do.
Watch where you step haha!
Man I love this thing the more and more I see it.
Night #1 in my GFC. Seaquest State Park, Castle Rock WA. Cold and wet
Night #2, same park. Cold, not as wet luckily
Night 033 – Nice ranch outside ABQ, NM for the night.
Night 034 – Rad little free campground in El Morro National Monument, NM
Nights 035 & 036 – Manzanita Campground just outside Sedona, AZ
Night 037 – Homestead outside Phoenix, AZ
Nights 038 & 039 – Another really cool farm just south of Phoenix, AZ for two nights.
Night 7, near Sedona. They changed dispersed camping rules and now force everyone into 5 designated areas. A little too close for comfort for me. But that rig in the back was kinda sweet to admire. It was a former fire truck.
