Day 6, Mazama Village in Crater Lake Natl Park
Great spot during the week. Gets hectic with SxS on the weekends. Enjoy!
Night 20. Alta Lakes outside of Telluride
Night 21. Breakfast view at Lake San Cristobal at Lake City
Night 22 and 23. Dispersed camping outside of Creede
What falls is this? Attempted phoenix falls recently but didn’t make it.
North Clear Creek Falls about halfway between Lake City and Creede. It’s right on the highway
Night 44 - 50: Just outside of Milo Oregon feeding some firefighters battling the Castle Fire
Night 51 - A random parking lot outside Eugene because we were too tired to drive further, pulled over, popped the tent and crashed. no picture ![]()
Night 52 - 56: Sisters Rodeo Grounds feeding more firefighters
Night 57 - 64: Back in Terrebonne to resupply the kitchens and do laundry.
Night 65 - Finally back in the forest!!! <3
p.s. anyone tired of the cute puppy pics yet?
Good luck to you on the adventure.
Love the pups!!
thanks on the help to the firefighters.
Looks like a bear crawling into your rig!! Lookout!! LoL
Beautiful area, wow.
What awning is that for covering the tailgate area? Couldn’t tell from the photo. Thanks in advance.
I have the OpenRoad 270 awning. Strong as can be. Freestanding until it starts to get real windy. Then you just drop down the adjustable poles. Has LED lighting installed as well. I also got the zip in sidewall panels which makes it a pretty good size tent to hang out in.
I have the same set up, works great ![]()
Thanks for the info,Most helpful.
That’s where I’m heading next year. Currently still in a small rooftop tent setup on my '22 Taco SR5 (upgraded suspension). Looking forward to a V2 Pro (or whatever the model in 2027) to keep things minimal / light overall.
looks like we just missed each other by a week!
we were there last week (we still have a broke down rig in Sisters waiting to be towed/ transported back)
I’m catching up on some trips from earlier this year.
Night 5: Jackson Lake State Park (June)
Honestly, the campground was unimpressive. There was an algae bloom in the lake, so no swimming. We were there with a group of ~20, so that made up for it. I didn’t get pictures, so here’s my chicken fajitas from a different trip.
Night 6 & 7: Mount Lassen
We saw the touristy things, hung out with my mom, and climbed a volcano. A good trip.
The evening picture below gives a good view of the self-leveling suspension. I like it a lot.
Night 8 & 9: Redwood National and State Parks
The trees are just as amazing as they were when I was 9. My kids thought they were pretty great too.
