I’ve spent the week in a campground near my sister (who is living the nomadic life in a fifth wheel) near Black River Wisconsin. “Pro tip” on awnings, they don’t like 60mph wind gusts. That broke two arms in the Reign Outdoor 270 on Tuesday (night 2 of 7) - no overnight wind was forecast. Either way, I’ll pay more attention in the future. It’s a testament to the quality of that awning that’s all that broke. I’ve already contacted them about getting replacement arms.

Night 10: Fourmile Recreation Area, CO

We needed a night away, so we picked the kids up from school at 4pm on a Friday, drove a few hours to Fourmile, and set up camp. We had some breakfast and were home by noon on Saturday to recoup most of the weekend.

Just came here for the coffee, I’m on night 22. Had a rainy start to the morning at Comb Ridge, so pour over in the back. Dewalt toolbox for the seat, Plano for the counter.
