Show us your truck!

The bulb seals look like bulb seals? It was raining yesterday and I have not seen any water intrusion yet and i will be making adjustments to the seals as needed.

I have a build thread on Expedition Portal and will post some interior pics there soon!

Relentless Fabrication. I wanted something to house the winch, deflect deer, have space for extra lights, and match the lines of the ZR2 bumper. It is a heavy steel son of a gun!

Have you weighed your truck yet? I weighed mine the other day and was surprised that I am pretty much at GVWR without any aftermarket bumpers installed…

Not yet. Gotta get some landscaping rock to get on a scale.

the new GFC at about 7000 feet. this spot felt more dodgy than it looks. that stuff is loose and it is a very long way down. the camper is light enough to use the full potential of the little truck. little trucks are better on skinny old trails from the 1800’s, now kept open by folks with quads. the camper has proved faultless, dry and dust free. only major change for us was to use a 3" air/foam mattress.

here’s some truck photos.
it’s an 03 Tacoma Dual Cab, King/Camburg suspension & upper arms up front. beefy 8 leaf springs with Bilsteins in the rear. rebuilt from one end to the other. we take out the rear seat and put gear in there as well as a cabinet for pots & pans, dishes and such. not very powerful, but superb in the back country !

Where is that trail and what’s the name?

Doing the deliveries, I haven’t had much time to get the camper out, and what time I did have I apparently weasn’t taking photos but here is one of it on the truck here in MT

And here is one of it on the truck in Cali

Its definitely a happier truck up here.

just patiently (not so patiently) waiting on my camper.

My first thought was how scary that looked. Not a lot of room on the driver’s side!

Mall crawled to the dog food store.

Just picked up my GFC Friday… long list of things to do before the spring. Swapped in some KB Voodoo bed rails today and got the camper sealed up to the rails. Looking forward to building the bed out for our needs and getting out with the camper!

Here’s an early pic before getting the roof rack back together and final mounting… cut down my prinsu rack so it can fit under. Will have maxtrax and a road shower on the roof

Bed rails mounted and camper final mounted.

:beers:

How do you like the way the voodoo bed rails mount up with gfc? I have factory plastic bed rails and not happy with the Interface between the two. The one ones have lost there structure and become wavy
