My (just yesterday) installed V2 has the panel preinstalled. Haven’t looked it over yet

I got mine installed this morning, it fits great, and looks good. My only complaint is that it’s raw aluminum, straight out of the laser bed and has pretty sharp edges. Feels like it needs a bead blast, or at least a rub down with some scotch brite. I might end up removing it and having it powder coated. I dunno, it just doesn’t feel like a finished ready for the public product because of that.

Shoot, totally understand the disappointment here—and really appreciate you bringing it up. I checked in with our engineering team to confirm what happened, and it looks like your panel was produced during a very short window when the Rivian MOLLE design was being updated. For a brief period, the model existed without the camera cutout, and unfortunately, yours was built before that update was rolled out.

GFC reached out in less than 12 hours of me posting this and immediately offered to send me the updated Rivian specific panel with the aforementioned camera cutout.
Super rad customer service, would have been quicker if I wasn’t bouncing around work and baby duty this morning
Stoked to finally clean up my “temporary” plywood mount that kicked around for over a year in my truck bed

I finally had time to install my Rivian molle panel this weekend (day one order). I too got the wrong one with no camera cutout.
GFC is making it right and offered to send the right one. Just bummed that they said I’ll be at the back of the queue and need to wait 8 weeks for delivery.
In the future I won’t buy any updates or accessories in the beginning so production issues can be worked out. Certainly don’t want to have to wait in line twice next time with any issues.
The queue must be long because I ordered early August and still haven’t gotten mine.
Anyone know what the deal is with the GFC molle panels? Lead time was 4-6 weeks when I placed my order and I just passed 16 weeks. Customer support is giving me the run around per usual and I don’t know what to believe. Anyone else cancel their order?
6 Months later…no V2 option…
Mine for the V2 pro arrived almost exactly 5 months after I placed the order. Very unimpressed with the quality. Many of the holes for the zip ties were not cut completely and I had to punch them out. The panel had a lot of scratches/gouges that didn’t appear to be shipping damage. A lot of rough/sharp corners. I went with the unpainted version so maybe the painted is a better route.
