The Random GFC Photo Thread

After 22 nights in the GFC in both cold (sometimes freezing weather), rain (lots of it!), warm to hot, mountains and coast I thought I’d post a few of the photos that come along with a GFC Adventure

Good times and next stop Death Valley!

Always nice to coming back to the GFC after an adventure…and to a smiling sunset!

This guy got tired of waiting for his build spot. Haha. I consider this a compliment that he copied the design not sure how the owners of GFC might feel. But it a good example that no one should spend all their energy just building a rig and letting the build consume all your waking time. Eventually you just got to go get out there with what you got. Im calling this The “GF?” What the heck lol

@mode7 The angle bracket you posted (part number 4014) has a hole spacing of 1" but I believe the center to center distance on the GFC extrusions is 7/8". Did you have an issue with that?

I just drilled out the holes a bit larger and threw a washer on the gfc bolt. It works but I’d probably do it differently if I was to do it again.

How about some more random photos of your GFC? Come on let’s see them.

First night was in a commercial campground; second night at a trailhead near Castle peak in Colorado. Did not get any pix of our “roadside” pullout for a mountain biking outing for our 3rd night. Looking forward to a good summer!

Build #96 here, installed November 2018. Loving it more and more every time we use it.

Gladiator opt for no doors? 1st one I have seen with just the spaceframe under the tent. Did he get the RTT or camper style tent?

He is an employee and just opted not to do the doors as they are unnecessary for him.

@Mike_GFCUSA I spy a rack attached to the GFC over the front of Toyota Cab. What is this and how do we get one?

Sweet Pics!

Thanks

That is mine, I built it but I do believe we plan on offering something similar in the future. We had built some prototypes for a cantilever rack a while back but need to refine them.

Lol does buying a camper without the doors decrease the price by much? Cool pictures!
