I’m heading out to pick up my GCF in early March and wanted to see if anyone has any good spots to camp at? I know it might be cold, but coming prepared and trying to ski a few days while I’m driving back to coast.
Plenty of camping spots on the Lower Madison River west of town. Likely will be free of snow by early March.

Not sure of the road conditions in the winter, but I know Copper City has a TON of free camping and cool trails to wheel on. It’s only like 40 mins from Belgrade.
Depending on the weather when you come through I’ll sort you right out! Weather will change the locations you can access but I’ve worked on snow bashing through enough stuff to know what is or isn’t!
