I love my Decked Storage system, but I will switch to the GFC model simply to save weight. I can’t wait to see the drawer design that GFC has came up with. I would imagine it will be cheaper than the Decked systems too—positive thinking? 
Getting into the tent from the bed of the truck is why you opt for the side door on the tent. I found it to be a burden to crawl into the tent from the bed of the Tacoma with no storage system. I couldn’t imagine how cumbersome it would be to try and do so while losing another 10-12 inches of space from a storage system.
