Any of you guys have a random bolt mounted on the swing out that appears to have no function? I’m thinking it’s the extra washers to adjust the handle tension, but the directions on install don’t specify…
I could be wrong, so if any of you guys know, that’d be awesome.
That’s just a shipping bolt. Keeps the swing out closed during transit. Feel free to pull it out. Check out the install video on their site just before the 5 minute mark. No need to keep it.
Remove that bolt. It is for shipping only.
Thanks for that guys. Never watched the video, but definitely should have. Just following the website instructions made no mention of this bolt.
