2025 F150 build

Got a bunch done this weekend. Got the Colorado Custom Fairing installed and got my battery box built and mounted. Cant say enough good stuff about the guys at CFC. They worked with me to measure and properly size the fairing for my rig. I went with a taller profile to cover the height of the beef bars which ascetically would look better smaller but I chose function. Mounting is straight forward. I might cut off the brackets a bit to move it closer to the GFC at some point. Significant reduction in wind and pressure noise. TBD if I’ll see and in crease on mileage.

The battery box took way more effort than planned. Mounted to the Molle panel and the underside of the transforms floor as well as one of the well nuts on the frame….. nothing is square or aligned so had to get creative. I will make some custom brackets at some point. Mounting it lower allow led it to move more toward the panel and provided a little room on top for storage.

Clean looking build! what is that T track on the bottom of the transform a floor?

Hello Mcnazzle, If you don’t mind me asking, what was the cost of the fairing. I am thinking of getting one made for my Tundra and would like to know going into it what others have paid. You know how custom stuff goes, pricing is very subjective. Thanks in advance.

@KCode its part of the transforma floor stock from Gfc. It seems to be the the spec as the outer extrusion channel so I just used gzilla t nuts that I had. The surface is not flat so I used a rubber washer to add contact area. Also not sure it can handle much weight it’s more for stability and to take some of the vibration out from juts mounting to the molle panel.

@jabironman it was around 450$. More than some others but they spent time answering all my questions on various options and helping me chose which type, proper measurement and sizing etc. They have a lot of cool patterns and designs if you want something like that and they are local to Denver CO and you can save on shipping by picking it up as well. This one is the reverse smile shape

I haven’t been here in quite a while, and I am just seeing this.

Holy shit that’s the same tarp I use!!! Glad the hooks worked out good for you

that REI tarp is quite versatile I love it. The rig looks great too by the way hell of a lot of work there.
