Antenna and WIFI on Ford Maverick

Hi,
The long antenna was removed with the install and since the AT&T wifi has been pretty spotty. I’ve also read that some tents settle so adding a new, shorter antennae will not work in the long run. Has anyone worked around this? A repeater maybe?
Thanks,

I don’t have an answer to your specific Wi-Fi question as I don’t have my GFC yet (ships ~Aug 29th), but I did take the long antenna off and replaced it with a Craven Stubby Jr shortly after buying my Maverick. I think it’ll fit under the GFC but can’t confirm since I’m still waiting on my install. Works pretty well otherwise, though.

I came across this post while looking for information on an antenna before my upcoming install on my 2023 Maverick. Were you ever able to get additional info on this issue?

It would have to be a very short antenna. I had a stubby antenna and it was still too long. photo for reference.

Thanks for the photo - really helpful. So in your case - you just removed the antenna mast all together, right? That threaded hole is then capped with screw and rubber washer?

I have a V2 Pro going on my 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid in a couple of weeks. I was planning to grab a CravenSpeed Stubby Jr (2") ahead of install, but it sounds like that is too tall? Are there any alternatives?

Anyone who’s measured or worked this out, I’d really appreciate the specifics!

The installer removed the stubby antenna I had, it’s just a bare hole but isn’t a through hole. if you found a 1” maybe that would fit.

I still get radio in city limits and listen to bluetooth most of the time
