Just want to share the stoke and useful info that in my GFC for the Chevy HD, my 160mm travel xl frame MTB fits standing with wheels on. It was important to me this was the case coming from a van camper, so I wanted to share for those with similar concerns.

I had to take the front wheel off mine and mount it to a fork mount on a 2x4 across the bed near the tailgate.
But now I’ve got shelves and a fridge back there so the bike has been relegated to a bike rack 
Same method here with fork mount on 2x4. Maybe I need to try harder!
Now that I think about it, I think the main reason I had to do that wasn’t height, but because I have a 5’ bed.
8ft bed definitely helps the cause. Super happy with the setup
