Cable pulling out

The green cables that I imagine secure the tent into the metal frame are coming loose and pulling out. Should I clip these? Has this happened to any other GF2 customers who have had this problem?

Don’t cut it. It’s the keder cord that keeps your tent secured to the extrusion. You have to wiggle it back in by working the tent and cord back to the original position. I had this happen as well.
There may be others that have better solutions but this worked for me.

Thanks Cojo. It’s like pushing on a string.

They’ve since replaced this with rods that dont move or slide out as often. I had the older kedar cord like that and had a shop in Denver swap mine at some point.

@GFC will the new rods come with the tent upgrade?

Tried to have GFC replace the keder cords with the new fiberglass rods under warranty but was told it was not covered (because I was not the original owner of the camper) which was a huge bummer. I had to purchase the fiberglass rods and tap kit from GFC. I have not had time to do the swap and am dreading it really. Hope someone else here was been able to do the swap without too much trouble
