Camp table

What’s everyone using for a camp table? I currently use this one below, and it works perfectly fine.

I have been getting ads on Instagram for one that can mount to the tailgate. Great idea IMO since there is some dead space there, but its going to retail for $800, which is in fucking sane. Anyone using something similar worth buying that isn’t an absurd price?

I use a similar one, a little aluminum top Alps Mountaineering. Hit 2 out of 3 just like every good compromise - cheap, light, not durable (lol)

It fits on the rack I made and doesn’t take up much space. There are a couple photos in my build thread.

I’m just using a small lifetime table. It sits flat on the floor when gear is loaded and gear gets organized on top, so there’s really no lost space. Just the thickness of the table.

Easy to clean, pretty durable. Just need to have a decently level spot to set it up.

I just like the idea of it mounting to the tailgate haha but for that price. Woof. all good options above. Much appreciated

I’ve been using this style for years. Built in seats. Looks flimsy but they are very strong.

I use one of these. Just buy when they are on sale. Fold flat for storage, sturdy, pretty lightweight. My dog and I both use this Gorilla Ladders work platform as a step up to my tailgate, and I prefer to use it to fire up my stove rather than my tailgate, as I don’t use any slideouts. Also, really handy to have around the house. https://www.homedepot.com/p/Gorilla-Ladders-4-ft-x-12-in-x-20-in-Aluminum-Slim-Fold-Work-Platform-300-lbs-Load-Capacity-GLWP-47/305590237
