Cleaning out the GFC - Handy Tool

Had a chance to knock out the first couple nights of camping on the WA BDR. Clearly I need to figure out a better dust solution, but I picked up one of these Harbor Freight Bauer brand compact shop blowers and I was surprised at how handy it was for not only blowing dust out of the bed, but blowing out water after I sprayed out the GFC. I also had a tiny bit of overspray on the two square removable floor panels and blowing the underside of those two panels with this thing dried them out almost immediately. It doesn’t come with a battery or charger, but it is on sale at Harbor Freight this month (August 2024) for $29.99.

Nate from dirt lifestyle also loves this. Gotta get me one, great call. I’m gonna do wabdr soon too, just waiting for rain.

Has anyone here tried out those new chinese-made super mini blowers? I’ve been looking at them

I just use my onboard twin compressor with an air nozzle when it needs to be blown out. I keep a small dustpan and hand broom in the bed to tidy up when it gets gross.

Another handy use I learned while camping with some friends last year, these small blowers work great as a fire bellows.
