I couldn’t find a good thread on this already, so I thought I’d start one.
I will usually run through a lazer wash to get salt/dirt build up knocked down in the winter and will do a mix of hitting a lazer wash and detailing my truck in the driveway when the weather is nice. the problem I am running into is the area between the truck rear glass and the camper. I have windows on the GFC so i can see out the rear view. Those windows are getting pretty bad with water spots and dirt. Anyone have a quick clean method for that spot that doesn’t involve moving the shell?
Any other tips on how to keep the rig clean while out on trips? we tend to start organized and slowly slip into chaos throughout a road trip.
EUKI compressed air blower from amazon, a buddy had that little guy to blow the dust off the back and out of the hinge area before opening the rear and side doors - it’s a keeper.
Medium counter brush to sweep the tailgate area.
Isn’t that the definition of a good trip? That way its fun to be back home
I have a very cheap, yet effective, method to clean the glass. I got the big paint stir sticks used for 5gal buckets from HD, taped them together for an even longer “pole”, then attach a terry cloth wrapped around one end with painters tape. I spray the cloth and jam it in between to get the hard to reach spots.
I do have a rear window that opens on the truck so that helps with most of it.
