Diesel heater ported to RV heat ducting

I have a 40’ RV and want Boondock in the colder temps as much as possible.

I would like to install a diesel heater and port it into the existing duct work.

Has anyone done this? Do you have any suggestions? Concerns? Comments?

I realize that the output is not as much as the propane furnace but I would not be using them at the same time. In fact, I plan on putting in a switch that will only let me energize one at a time.

I really like the idea of using the ducting as it is in the floor and would help the tank warmers. (Lots less electricity)

You’re definitely in the wrong place for this question…this is a Go Fast Camper forum, not an RV forum
