DIY Zip Tie Anchors

I have seen discussion about where to find the zip tie anchors that GFC uses. While I still haven’t found a retailer that sells them, I did find this 3d print file that creates identical mounts and are sized perfectly for the 1" wide VHB tape. Enjoy!

Pretty cool! Here’s two links for the HellermanTyton mounts in small quantities:

Mouser usually has items you can’t find elsewhere, however you’ll pay a premium price.

I go to Willys Electronics for my electronics needs. I bought a 100 pack of the zip tie anchors (with an adhesive pad) for $12.99.

Good to know, thanks. What I specifically like about the ones posted are their conformity to curves.

Yeah, there are cheaper ones available for sure - but in general this type of mount is compatible with flat surfaces, and notorious for peeling off. These HellermanTyton ties are what GFC uses, and they don’t peel off like the cheap ones.

OMG Lifesaver! Going to my local library to print 10 of these now. Everywhere online I’ve found them, after shipping and handling fees, they are almost $5 each. Thank you!

As an fyi for those who want the actual Hellermann Tyton zip tie anchors, they have updated them and the new number is 151-02219. I got mine from mouser: LINK
