I know that GFC carefully builds these to the specs of each truck. Not sure how similar the bed is between a long bed taco and a nissan frontier and if a camper made for one would fit the other?

Its not just the bed dimensions, they also match the rear cab angle and cab height off the bed. With that said a V1 might be more universal then the V2 since with the V2 (specifically from the Tacoma perspective) the campers are now specific to a generation. The short answer would be is to get really detailed measurements from someone with a Tacoma GFC (I would even compare generations) and see how that matches with your truck. As far as reaching out to GFC customer service they only recommend running a camper built for your specific make and model.
