Selling your GFC, for why?
Long story short, I was lucky to win a Bestop Soft Top for my Rubicon while on a Jeep Jamboree. Stuff like that never, ever happens to me. I’m not that lucky but here we are.
This summer after tackling John Bull, Holcomb Creek and Gold Mountain, and after much consideration, I decided to remove the RTT, Awning and our roof rack so we could install the soft top, which had been sitting in the garage for almost a year.
The RTT and Awing, have been with us for 5 years and have tackled the Rubicon trail, twice, been on pretty much every trail up here in our local Big Bear Mountain. Provided us room and board while we ventured up and down PCH from San Diego to Washington State. And was a part of our very first adventure through Yellowstone after we got the RTT installed at GFC HQ.
It’s not easy parting ways with the RTT. We’ve had soooo many adventures with it and so many unforgettable memories. GFC built a beast of a RTT! It’s been through the gnarliest of off-road trails and provided us with dreamy sleep, incredible views, and stories that will last a lifetime.
