Front sliding window options

I’d also use it for fishing poles. Id put a little piece of paracord at the back of the camper to hang the butt sections from the roof and then put the tip sections through the camper into the cab of the truck!

Seems to me like it would useful for providing airflow when transporting your furry friends.

I could also see someone creating some kind of insert and duct setup with a flat hose to get heat (or A/C) into the downstairs without needing to cut a hole into a side panel. Might be challenging to install, but would maintain the panel warranties and minimize additional orifices through which someone might try to break into the truck bed.

I would use it to teleport cold beers.

The dog likes to check up on us frequently. We have a regular cab, and we would likely bring the dog along on our cross country trips with the truck/camper access. Access could be handy in inclement weather. With a small passenger compartment, anything the gal pal can access while I’m driving would be a major time saver for sure.

So with the V2 MAX having the option for this, has anyone gotten an answer from GFC about how different the MAX front window is vs say the older OG V2s? I can only assume it’s quite a departure otherwise they’d have made a comment somewhere about retrofits being available?

When the Max first came out I asked GFC about that. They said they would be making retrofit windows for V2s but not until they had production of the Max under control

@Graeme_g @GFC any word?

That is awesome to hear, hopefully we can hear from them soon!

I had asked about a month ago if there was a retro fit option for the V2 Pro that I have (mostly for airflow for the dogs and some ventilation for the downstairs since we are bunk style with my family) and the answer was similar to what YetiX said. Only a Max option until further notice. Really hoping that’s something that becomes available. Guess I’ll rig something else up somehow in the meantime.
