Front tension cord repair

Hi. GFC 706 here. I have a V1 that has the fabric delaminating on the front tension cord inside the tent. I sent GFC a pic and they recommended this kit to re-laminate where the fabric is coming apart. I no longer have the photo of the delamination on my phone currently, sorry. Its coming apart on both D and P sides of the tent. GFC did not include instructions or even a contents listing. I feel like I need to apply something and heat it up with the little iron tool to achieve the bond between the two fabrics. Last thing I want to do is burn a hole in my tent. Anybody have experience with this kit and a V1 fabric repair??

I can send a pic of the area that needs repair if my description is unclear. I’m just being lazy at the moment…

When I reached out to their support for a zipper that was delaminating they had offered me a similar kit with that little iron. I didn’t end up going that route because Ill be upgrading to the v2 pro here soon and just used Gorilla Fabric Glue instead and it has held up really well so far. But they had sent me instructions for that kit and might be helpful for what you’re trying to do as I’m sure its pretty similar. I don’t have the email any more unfortunately but Im sure you can ask them for it.
