Lol - $6 Blue Hawk tarp from Lowes, $6 for 3 spring clamps. $12 awning - in fairness I’m excluding the materials on hand - 550 cord, and collapsible aluminum poles. Oh, and rocks lol.
Not a Kinsman, but it takes Oklahoma weather well
As for the dog - she’s alright I guess haha.
She’s a bullmastiff mix, and a great camper. Sounds like y’all have good taste in pups.
Had a broken leg so had to stay at home for several weeks but in March I plan to visit my friend at his Athens house and we should travel around the country in his Jeep and explore new places and off roads for about 10 days, can’t wait for my vacation there.
Hey gang,
Checking in from the Great Lakes region and keeping this thread alive. SuperLite on a Roof Top Overland rack on a Tundra. This was the official maiden voyage since I had to wait 3 months for the rack and why not test it out in the UP of Michigan and go skiing/boarding for a week!
Just caught a couple tips from the forum posts here to help me dial it in but worked great for the two of us and for any one who’s zoomed in on that pic, yes that’s a ski/board rack mounted upside down. Was a little awkward to get the skis in but kept the salt off the gear and gave us a secure storage for them!
