Would be cool to do a meetup in the NC/TN/VA mountains.

REALLY late reply on my part (just joined). I plan on doing POTA/SOTA activations once I get my V2 MAX in Spring 2026. Iām near the center of the US, so heading east is a likelihood. 
Also looking for options to mount a vertical to my Tacoma for mobile operations. Any ideas or suggestions?

the best HF mobile antenna option is the Yaseu atas 120
You will need a compatible yaesu radio but there are many that work
