Have an order for a GFC that should be ready in the next month or so. We purchased it because it fit the very weird list of non-negotiables we wanted for our summer trip + monthly campouts.
We have a 5 year old kid. I can build him a really cool platform bed but I hate the idea of adding weight. We have a hammock…has anyone put a hammock inside the bed diagonally? I tried searching but haven’t seen anything INSIDE.

Someone on the Tacomaworld forum hung a hammock in the bottom of theirs. Couldn’t’ find the link, but it’s ben done.
