Hinged front window?

Hmmm. I planned on ordering from breezerwindows.com. They just need a template of the rear window. Only reason I’m holding off right now is the usual…time and money. Need to pop that cab window out and make a trace of it on paper for them. And come up with another $700. The GFC has been a money suck since first getting it.

Reviving this thread to see if anyone has come up with a solution to hinge the front window of their GFC? I have a 2017 Toyota Tundra. My back window on my cab goes down. Would really be nice to have the GFC window open so I can securely transport fishing rods (versus strapping to beef bars).

Alternatively, does anyone have an easy method for removing the front GFC window? I’d need to put it back in but would like to occasionally take it out when needed. Thanks

I was hoping you were going to post pics of the breezer and let us know how that went? I have an 05 tundra with a rear power window and would love crawl through options.

Time and money. And with time, I mean figuring out how to remove that window to make a template, and getting it back in before I need to use my truck for a camping trip! With CA gas prices spiking, may have to start using my Prius for some day trips!! I’ve watched enough videos and use to remove windows in my old VWs when I was a teen, just pressure, and slowly pushing it out…just don’t feel like breaking the window.

They use Trim-lok gaskets for the windows. Once you understand how they work it’s easy to take the window out. Getting it back in is a little more difficult. I found this out when I accidentally bent my rear panel with my garage door and part of the window popped out. It took quite a bit of effort to get it back in place, but I haven’t had any issues since that happened a couple years ago.
