Hey @Interloper! Just to follow up, my solution of using a doubled-up bulb seal for the front bulkhead has been going strong for the past year and a half with no issues as far as I can tell. There haven’t been any signs of leaks or other outside environment intrusion in that area on my Tacoma.
Hey Yeezus. That’s exactly what I’m planning on doing for a Wednesday install. The only concern I have is I don’t have an even substrate for the seals. The bulkhead rail cap is lower than the side rail cap (and less than 1.5" seal I’m using) and then steps further down to the Tacoma bed track system. I guess it’s just a bit of a messy install but if anyone has further thoughts I’m certainly listenting. Running out of time in gettng additional materials though.
@Beater_Bimmer Did the forks do ok with the removable GFC floor being the honeycomb plastic vs the typical fiberglass?
