My gfc has three 10 rack bars and one 175w solar panel.
When updating from a 2 rod holder to 4 I found that it didn’t open well.
Is there any way folks have found to increase the roof weight capabilities by updating the tent gas struts or do I need to reach the acceptance phase and stay with the 2 rod holder?
I can’t quite tell where your stuff is mounted. One thing you can do is move the weight to the front, toward the hinge. The closer it gets to the hinge, the less load it puts on the struts. Since it sounds like you’re just right on the edge of working, moving weight toward the hinge may be all that is needed.
