No headliner with V2 Pro and no timeline from support

Camper itself. One in the top passenger side corner, at least one in the tent/bedding area at the rear, and in both bottom corners of the rear panel since I have significant gaps on both sides (I’ve tried the neoprene seal but there’s still a small gap — and it just looks like a bad homemade fix because it is).

I have the same question - maybe an email update tomorrow (Dec 19?)

Damn that sucks to hear. I pick up my camper in February and I’m compiling a list of items to take a look at. Unfortunately after you wait months and drive halfway across the country I’m not sure there will be many options if I find issues.

I also ordered at the kickoff. No response. They originally said every Monday would get an update but that has stopped. They also promised my headliner mid December but still have no email or correspondence. Super frustrating. What’s up @GFC

I called GFC today and one of the guys there told me that they now have more material so they can get production going full speed. He said they plan to send emails out this week and are working on a tool where we can track our orders. ETA is January!
If you folks want to call here is the GFC number (406) 303-5181

I also think I’m having water intrusion, unless it’s condensation buildup in the tent. Here’s hoping (when I finally take delivery) that the headliner will help…

Headliner Update 12/20

Howdy GFC fam,

Since launching the V2 Pro Upgrade Accessories this summer, we’ve shipped 170+ headliner kits and received a ton of positive feedback. That said, we know some of you are asking, “Where the hell is my headliner?”—over 800 of you, to be exact. Here’s the lowdown:

Back in June, we realized we couldn’t keep up with demand for headliner purchases using only our in-house resources. To help streamline production, we brought in a third-party manufacturer to produce the remaining headliners. Unfortunately, they ran into sourcing issues with the carpet material, and their lead times ballooned to around 11 weeks. This has been frustrating for everyone involved, and we’ll be honest—while we pride ourselves on being competent manufacturers, this was a stroke of incompetence on our part. It was a lapse in planning, and we take full responsibility for it.

**As of this morning, we’ve decided to completely manage the headliner supply chain in-house, right here in Montana.**No more working with the “big guys” to get our products made. At the end of the day, nobody cares about our customers or the quality of our products as much as we do.

We’ve added shifts, doubled down on long days, and are throwing everything we’ve got at catching up. On January 3rd, we’ll receive 90,000 square feet of headliner material—enough to fulfill every single outstanding order. From there, we’ll be working around the clock to cut, sew, and ship all headliners, with a goal to ship every outstanding order and ensure every new V2 Pro Camper includes a headliner by the beginning of February.

To keep you in the loop, we’re also building a real-time leaderboard for our website. This will show exactly where your order stands in the production queue—because no one likes guessing games when it comes to the products they’ve invested in. It’s all part of our commitment to being as transparent as possible.

We also want to acknowledge that our communication throughout this process hasn’t been what it should have been. For that, we sincerely apologize. To improve your experience moving forward, we’ve onboarded an entirely new Customer Service team this week. They’re dedicated to providing better communication, answering your questions promptly, and ensuring you stay informed every step of the way.

We can’t thank you enough for your patience and support. Your trust fuels our hustle, helps us improve, and enables us to bring manufacturing back to its roots—right here in the USA.

More updates are coming soon, but for now, we’re getting back to work.

Cheers,

The GFC Team

thx! just saw the email also!

Happy to get the headliner update…

However I’m still waiting on a lighting kit that was part of my V2 Pro upgrade order placed on the day they went live on the site (8/1). Was supposed to be an 8 week lead time originally, but then i was told via email that it would ship by mid December. Welp, it’s 12/20 and still nothing. I really want my lighting kit…

Anybody else waiting for a lighting kit? What’s up @GFC

I’m also still waiting on the lighting kit as well as turbo nap and frame plugs. Is GFC planning on making these products now on Montana or are they leaving it to the “big guys”?

@GFC, what domino effects will this have on the other items (pro tent, lighting kit, etc) that were also opened for sale in August? When can we expect them to start shipping?
