Unbelievable! Somebody in a 3rd Gen Tacoma not sure of the dark color because the parking lot was was dim lit. Stole my thumb screw from the rear hatch! Seriously WTF!!! Anyways I’m over it and just now looking for solutions to replace those screw latches… anyone else go thru this? Lastly this recently happened at Bass Pro Shops in Ontario CA.
Sorry man. Some people certainly do suck. Not sure what part a thumb screw is on the rear hatch. Submit a service request with GFC. I’m sure they can help you out.

This makes me want to keep my panels locked from now on… also, not sure what the thumb screw part is on the latches.

The V1 rear latch handles are similar to these. I’d measure the stud length of the other side but this should get you in the ballpark of what you need.

Thanks man and my reference to the stolen part is the latch lever not thumb screw.

Got it. Order a couple. I carry extras. I lost one in baja. It just rattled out. Guess I didn’t tighten it enough.
