Went up to Bozeman two weeks ago for a proactive hinge upgrade on my V1. Had no issues prior but wanted to get it done before summer. Guy installing said 50% of the OG hinges have failed.

Yeah mine were holding strong and I felt maybe I was gonna be one of the lucky ones lol

How much did it cost to have them proactively changed? Planning on making my way up there this summer to get them changed.

There is no charge to swap out the living hinges to embassy hinges. You’ll just need to schedule it.
