We stayed 2 nights on the trail. First night at Potato Bottom, second night at Murphy Hogback.
Was excellent catching up once again!
Nights 7-9 - Eagle Canyony Raceway
My GFC made a great support vehicle while I competed in the SCCA Targa Texasland. We spent 3 nights camping in it at Eagle Canyon Raceway, Decatur, Texas. It saves us from needing to get hotel rooms and is super convenient to be able to stay at the track. L
I’m not competing with @DirtTrailsWanted because that’s just incredible that y’all are at 98 nights already!
Night 29: Chena River Rec Area (Fairbanks)
Night 30: Second night, same spot Chena River Rec area (Fairbanks)
Night 31: Outside Denali National Park
Get after it!
night 99, Around moab
Night 100, Around moab, ended up sharing this spot and making friends with a new crew for the night.
Night 101, around moab area.
Nights1&2: Beginning of 5 month journey. First stop, Cooperstown, NY. KOA Campground as no dispersed camping and State Park not open until 5/15.
Yeah so rough even with airing down first!
Nights 3-4: West Branch State Park, Ravenna, OH
Great family campground and an easy jump off spot to today’s trip to Rock ‘n Roll HOF and Football HOF is even closer.
My buddy just got the Modcap family installed in his gladiator so we took a weekend shakedown trip. I’m regretting taking my heater out so early. It was 35° overnight both nights
Night 32: Denali Highway
Night 33: Rainbow Ridge
Just bought my GFC on Thursday and immediately had to take it out this weekend. Upgraded it with a homemade headliner and installed some LED strip lights.
this was in mid April I completely forgot about posting
Night 2: Owlshead Mountains, Death Valley, CA
Night 3: near Teakettle Junction, Death Valley, CA
Night 5: Mark Twain NF, somewhere in MO. Had the pick of 8 spots - no one here. After 12 hr. drive, slept like a baby. Off to Betonville for a couple of days to ride.
Love the hardtail!
Hey i have that front runner box as well! I use those inserts now more than I use the actual wolfpaco theyre supposed to be inside of lol.
Thanks - wanted to bring the Stumpy but would have been completely trashed after 7.5k miles. HT is like Timex, t”takes a beating, keeps on ticking”
Yup! Simple and easy to maintain!
Night 102, Somewhere south of Moab
Night 103, Same spot, waiting out strong winds!
Night 104, Super fun day of driving, up Simplot Dugway, then down Flint Trail. Simploft was likely the most consequential driving I have ever done, multiple 3-point switchbacks with little room for failure, truly tested my clutch skills today.
First two nights camping. Everything worked as planned and sleeping was very comfortable. Was a little cold overnight at around 4c (40f) but mostly dry. Ross lake in the Skagit valley, which is only a lake in July and August on the Canadian side.
Great video review of your GFC on YouTube! Just saw it this morning. The customer service element is spot on.
