Power Plan

Power plan. (I don’t want a full blown dual battery setup). I’ve been researching a bunch and watching a bunch of YouTube videos on this stuff.

Open to suggestions/tips.

Biggest question am I missing anything? Also what’s the best way to get the wires into the GFC camper (NPT Gland?).

I plan to run the Pectron charger from the starter battery (includes wiring with fuse after battery) to the AC200MAX then from the AC200 a power run (put an inline fuse here 30A?) to the Auxbeam fuse panel which includes a switch panel then run a Blue Sea 4366 to the fuse panel also. Mainly to give me some USB plugs to mount in the bed, power the interior GFC lights to the fuse panel (future plan), etc.

DC Output Port Items:
ICECO VL35PROS Fridge
-Now do I run an ARB mounted socket near the fridge to the fuse panel as well to have a switch for that too? Or run it to the AC200max directly via 5521 DV connector.

Auxbeam Panel (Future GFC Interior Lights, 4366 Panel, Fridge, etc.) (Aviator Plug DC Connection)

Parts Coming:
Bluetti AC200MAX
-Went with this over the AC200L due to the DC Output port options.

Parts Planned:
Pectron Charger (Power to AC200 while driving)
Pectron Charger
-Comes with all wiring from starter battery to the AC200.

Auxbeam Panel
AuxBeam

Blue Sea 4366 Panel
4366 Panel

Misc Connectors/12g Wire/etc.

For wire routing from the battery i went through the gap in the DS front bed corner. If you have a molle panel you can then hide the wire behind the panel if you need to run it to the other side. Once done just reseal with butyl tape or foam ignore the dashes here the front rail didn’t have cutouts to zip tie the cable to so went behind the molle panel instead

I ran a dometic 12v socket to the rear that gives me 100w of recharging power to my ecoflow when I’m in motion so recharges the battery at about 10% per hour of running. Have a 220w folding solar panel for when in camp if the 100w ultimately isn’t enough I’ll swap it to the dc to dc charger that tinkerers adventures did on his YouTube

Not a bad idea for a pass through spot, probably the best unless I drill the rear panel and do a NOT Gland.

I wish I did that before haha I sealed all that up really good too :joy:

Yea I watched his video on the Victron unit, great video.

If you haven’t purchased your bluetti yet I would reconsider. I have the ac200max and found the 30amp dc output would overload under 30amps, I could not get it to power both my fridge and diesel heater at the same time. My unit also failed completely but was fixed under warranty. I ended up going to a dual battery system becuase the bluetti never really met my needs.

Too late unfortunately. Hmm, which ports was your fridge and heater plugged into?

I had mine hooked up to a fuse block via the 30amp output.

I also had issues with mine in cold weather. I would recommend storing it inside your house or an insulated garage in the winter.

Yea if i’m not camping it won’t stay in the truck. Obviously ideal would be dual battery dedicated setup which down the road will be something I end up doing but not quite yet.

I appreciate your heads up and trying to save me haha.

Hopefully it works out better for you!

bluetti did stand behind their warranty and repaired my unit so atleast I have it for other vehicles and emergency situations.

I’ve gone to a 100ah lithium dual battery setup with Auxbeam and Smaller 500watt power station for my ac power needs in the gfc.

When you wire your fuse panel for the 30 amp plug try to make all the wire runs as short as possible, also use as short as possible cords for any accessories. Might help with voltage sensitive things like fridges and diesel heaters

Yea i’m trying to find the best spot to get the cable into the bed from the engine bay. Most likely through the GFC panel with a NPT Gland id assume.

Hopefully I do. And i’ll try to keep the runs short. Starling might be introduced later so that’s another power device I need to think about but again worst case I out use this and need to go dual battery. But at least i’ll know my needs and still have a portable unit if need be ever
