Production Timeline Records

my color samples shipped today. Its progress of sorts.

What build number are you?

#1558 for a '20 Ford ranger Screw cab. They must be close to prototyping Rangers now.

I’m build #1788 and also have a SuperCrew 2019 Ford Ranger. I saw (on an Instagram story) they were taking measurements of the Ranger bed a few weeks ago, so hopefully you’re correct!

Color samples arrived, picked the options I wanted. I was hoping the red was a close match to Ford’s Rapid Red, but its closer to Race Red, so I went with the black panels and tangerine fabric, double tent doors and no windows with two black beef rack bars.

Expecting to be invoiced soon. Seems to be on track for the predicted adjusted build date of May timeframe.

I got emails from Taylor at Go Fast. I thought he moved to a different job?

Interesting I thought he left back in December myself. @GFC_Taylor are you still with GFC?

@crazyfingers is correct, I promoted myself to customer (lol). I used to have all of the answers, now I have exactly zero answers. Sorry y’all!

Lol, I used to say that at another job where I did Customer service. ā€œPromoted to customerā€.

Must be an automated system set up to use Taylors name and no one knows how to change it now. Or they hired his cloned self, haha.

Or unless they hired somebody else name Taylor to replace the original OG @GFC_Taylor

I am build #1308 (2021 Tundra reg cab) with a March 2021 build date.

I have posted this up in the thread somewhere I believe but for those of you ā€œpast dueā€, thought this may be helpful. I am build #1308 with the following timeline:
6/16/20: XL deposit paid
1/18/21: options chosen (later re-selected for V2)
1/21/21: received invoice
1/21/21: Invoice Paid
4/16/21: Called and spoke with Rachel at GFC. She said that the Tundra reg cab was getting close to ā€œfinalized.ā€ Once finalized, I would be reached out to regarding scheduling an install which would likely be 6-8 weeks at the earliest. This would put me at early June if I got a call on Monday (best case scenario).

Has anyone in the 1600 build numbers received color options/invoice?

i’m 1624 Tacoma DCSB and I’m hoping for a call in the next few weeks.

Same here! 1670 ACLB Tacoma. Collin told me about a month before the expected build date, we should be confirming colors and options, and then final invoice. Im just getting anxious for the call. Its getting close to May!

Looks like we are now in 2021/22 for new orders.

Do we know how many builds are being completed a month? In the email from GFC about my build #1931 - ā€œYour camper should be available for production July 2021ā€ - I’m not sure I believe this if 1500s aren’t even in production. What do y’all think? (Also this isn’t complaining just trying to get a realistic timeline)

@egilbe is 1558 and has colors…

Has anyone ever used the information on this thread to predict when their camper is complete? I see endless pages of people sharing their experience but just wondering if it all adds up to anything useful.

@fatfurious2 true that. Curious to see when his build starts.

@Kwood that’s kind of what I was trying to get at, haha. Trying to figure out if I’ll be ready for pick Up before winter. I’m guessing 20-25 campers being completed a week?

I will call them on May 3rd if I dont hear anything between now and then.

@GFCnortheast and @Kwood I think what would help this be more clear for people is not just posting the build number, but also make and model of truck. I was following up with people via a PM that were posting just their number to see what make and model they were and I was able to predict within two weeks or so of where I was sitting.

With the change to batching builds by type means that we need to be seeing build number as well a make/model. The build number is still important, its just no longer the only variable.

Someone posted on the fb group that they are picking up #1423 in mid June. So maybe 1500s are not even there yet
