Build #1382, Short Bed Ranger, Paid January 29th, Install scheduled for May 28th.

Original install date was estimated sometime in June, with a build date in May. I want to see pics when you guys get yours installed.

Anyone else have a 2011 or older Ranger? Deposit placed in December and I’ve been super excited but was punched in the gut when that model didn’t even show up at all on the V2 roll-out matrix.
Phone call today, Jeep Gladiator install scheduled 4 weeks out.

6/16/20: XL deposit paid
1/18/21: options chosen (later re-selected for V2)
1/21/21: received invoice
1/21/21: Invoice Paid
4/29/21: got call to schedule installation for 6/7/21…almost a year on the button from initial deposit.
@artieTwelve youre in Baltimore? @crazyfingers is near you in Annapolis! What build number is your V2? I am hoping to be driving out from Northern VA in July to get my V2. I am #1670. Should be choosing colors next week

I currently have #850, which might be the last one built before the new hinge. Eh, so what? The camper is great. I spent two months last fall banging my way through the southwest deserts I always wanted to see. Now that I have some time with the camper and have seen the upgrades GFC have put into V2, it is worth the time, effort and (about $500) to get things I wish I had purchased the first time around. Just to be clear, that would be the tent side doors.
Funny thing. Welders. A lot of people would come up to me at campgrounds, or Home Depot parking lots and ask me if I built it. A lot of them were welders. They saw the international Orange on the space frame and the automatically assumed I was a welder. Who else would use that color?
I have slot #1706. I’m hoping the camper will be available for pick up by the end of July. As I understand it, you now set your pickup date when you pay off the invoice but that could be just wishful thinking on my part. Once I know the date, I’ll make arrangements for selling #850 just before I head back to Bozeman.
Still a lot of camping to do before #1706 is ready. If you have never gone hiking in Dolly Sods, then you are missing something.

They do not give you a pickup date when you pay your invoice unfortunately. They call 6-8 weeks before it’s ready for you to schedule a date in a window they give. If you cannot make their pickup window, your build will be postponed to a later date (so they do not have to store your camper).
Got the call today! Install scheduled for 6/7 (earliest they had was 5/30). 
Awesome News! I have build #1508 for a 3rd Gen DCLB. Hoping for a phone call in a week or so.
Ugh…I missed my install call this morning and now I can’t get through to John. Probably going to have to wait until Monday

1/4/21 - Bought the spot from someone else
1/5/21 - Selected options for V1 and paid invoice
2/17/21 - Found out I’m getting V2…Received email to fill out form selecting options and did that.
4/12/21 - Received email with link to schedule install. It gave instructions to schedule after 4/19.
4//29/21 - Install in Belgrade (so easy and the guys were super nice and helpful)
Camped a couple nights on way home to SoCal with wife and 2 kids. So fun, love it so far. Already very stoked I got the windows, especially rear window so I can still see out the back.

Congrats. So is GFC doing emails to schedule installs now? Looks like some others are getting phone calls. I was expecting a phone call today, but the call never came.

I was also expecting call but just got the email that it was done and a link to lock in install time on the calendar. Was really easy and smooth process.
