Hadn’t checked mounting brackets in quite a while and decided to give them a hand jiggle test. Glad I did- the two C brackets towards the cab were loose, with the bolts being finger loose.
Here’s your excuse to check them if you haven’t recently!

Read this post a few weeks ago. Had mine installed in May/June 2024. Used on one trip a couple hours away and that’s about it. Checked my C clamps. One was very loose (hand loose) and the other three were wrench loose. The bolts going into the OEM bed rail (Toyota Tundra), 3 out of 4 were wrench loose.
Has anyone used Loctite on the nuts and bolts holding the GFC down to the bed?
I think they usually loosen up due to the gasket/bedrails compressing and not the bolt loosening up, but a little blue loctite is never a bad idea.
