Rear Awning

I am looking for a simple rear awning that mounts easy with a minimum of modification. Just something to keep the rain and sun off me if I’m cooking on tailgate.

Were you able to use the GFC awning mounts without any modifications?

Not without modification: the standard awning mount from gfc will interfere with the protruding lip on the top portion of the rear extrusion. Two options: notch the lip to clear the bracket is easiest. Other option is notch the back portion of the bracket to clear the lip.
