[Reviewed] Best Cell Phone Signal Booster for Weak Signal

I researched the best cell phone signal boosters over the past few days because I need one for weak network coverage at my home. I read reviews on The New York Times, Consumer Reports, and Popular Mechanics, and they are recommending these two as the best:

Hiboost Cell Phone Signal Booster-Upgraded Dual-Antenna, Covers up to 9,000 sq ft

Cell Phone Booster for Home Office | Up to 2500 Sq Ft | Cell Phone Signal Booster Boosts 5G

However, I’m having trouble deciding which one would best suit my needs and need your expert advice.

Which one should I buy? Or is there another cell phone signal booster that offers better performance and value? Any recommendation will be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

starlink.

everything you need a booster for uses internet, so starlink would be the most ideal choice.

at home you should have dedicated internet service.

+1 for starlink. Plus use it anywhere. Cell tech will be dying out as more and more satellite internet becomes available and phones become more adept at using it.

Thanks! I’ve definitely considered Starlink, and it looks like a great option for internet. Right now, though, I’m mainly trying to improve my existing cell signal for calls and mobile data throughout the house. That’s why I’m looking at signal boosters. I appreciate the suggestion!

You can do wifi calling on starlink and it’s more reliable than cell signal boosters

That’s a fair point. If I go with Starlink, Wi-Fi calling would probably make more sense than buying a signal booster. But if I stick with my current internet connection, I’d still need a good cell signal booster. Thanks for the suggestion!

Just a thought. I have my starlink connected to solar and battery in my truck. I can actually access it from my house as my truck is parked close enough to the house, so I am able to get rid of my comcast connection, saving costs.

I have noticed that typically my Starlink is accessible from the parking lot if I am staying in a hotel, that is the regular Starlink Mini without the Wi-Fi range booster.
The only downside is the 100gig cap on the lower tier plan.
