Trip was great. Was definitely not used to the ‘warp speed’ view of driving in heavy snow at night. I didn’t end up having to use the chains and returned them in Vegas along with the frozen bags of sand I had in the bed. I took it very easy and coasted the whole way letting people pass every chance I got.

Think about what happens to the weight you put in your bed when you run in to something as you are choosing where to put it and what it is. It comes right through the rear window and plants your face through the steering wheel when it hits you in the back of the head.
Nice! I bet having the chains was good piece of mind though. I’ll bring a set with me as well
