What’s the……bedding holder for lack of a better word you’re using to hold your gear up? The black piece.with elastic bands.

seeing how much stuff you can hold with your bed catch now i’m convinced I installed mine wrong LOL
fitting a -25F sleeping bag took most of the space on mine and mine’s supposed to be bigger!

Installed: Freedom Coast Anchor Mounts For Bedding Catch

Still need to figure out my solution for the saggy center of the catch. (Maybe when temps are warmer).

Spitballing here. What if you ran a fiberglass tent pole inside the channel where the hanging rope goes (on both sides)? The rope would still hang the catch, but the tent pole would stiffen it up.

Another possibility would be tying the middle of the catch up to the t-nut rail that’s directly above it on the front, and then to the molle panel/ freeedom coast rail on the back. It would kind of “split” the catch, which isn’t ideal, but it would pull the middle up out of the way.

I did the grommet with the carabiner in the middle like someone else here did. And it works great.

And attached to what?

Here’s what I think they mean and what I did to keep the middle from sagging. Hooked a small carabiner onto the catch and to a mounted anchor on the t track. But where that t rack lines up on your truck is going to depend on your bed length, it wont be in the same spot for everyone. I have a 6ft bed and so it lines up perfectly with the width of a typical catch but on shorter beds I’ve seen it closer to the cab and not as functional for this purpose.

Doesn’t work on the short beds it’s towards the cab. Appreciate it though.

Oh yeah, I’ve got a long bed as well. Sorry man.
